Casimir Mühlematter alias DJ C.A. startete seine Karriere im Jahre 1991. Zu dieser Zeit begann er die ersten Platten als Resident DJ in einer Discothek aufzulegen und zu mixen. Das nötige Know-how brachte er schon von einzelnen Auftritten in Wanderdiscos mit. Sein Durchbruch aber als anerkannter DJ im Bereich "Techno" erlangte er durch seinen ersten grossen Auftritt an der "White Dove"-Party im Studio Urdorf. Der Erfolg dieser Party bestätigte, dass DJ C.A. einer der Besten seines Fachs werden könnte und überzeugte die Partyorganisatoren vom Studio Urdorf, ihn als Resident Dj anzustellen. Ungefähr ein Jahr später hatte DJ C.A., der es versteht, die Raver mit der richtigen Mischung Trance zu fesseln und die Menge zum Toben zu bringen, die Gelegenheit im Grodonia (Rümlang/ZH) aufzulegen. Zu dieser Zeit war das Grodonia der Techno-Club im Raum Zürich sowie auch berühmt für seine After After Hours, die von der 1991 gegründeten Partyorganisation "Tarot" veranstaltet wurden. Ein Auftritt sollte hier speziell herausgehoben werden: Die Verantwortlichen der Webster Hall in New York wurden durch eine CD auf DJ C.A. aufmerksam und luden ihn im April 98 zu einer Party ein. Durch die positive Resonanz bekräftigt, engagierten die Organisatoren DJ C.A., um die "Tranzworld"-CD zu mixen, sowie ein zweites Mal in der Webster Hall und zwar an der Release Party der "Tranzworld"-CD im August 98 aufzutreten. Unter anderem waren Barbara Tucker und einige andere amerikanische Live Acts an dieser Party, an der ca. 3500 Besucher teilnahmen und DJ C.A. einem amerikanischen Fernsehen ein Interview gab. Unter den Projektnamen : "DOUBLE FORCE" , "DJ C.A." , "DJ POPEYE" erschienen Tracks, welche auf deutschen Compilations wie z.B. "Trancemaster" und "Tunnel Trance Force" veröffentlicht wurden, die auch den Sprung in deutschen Sampler-Charts schafften. Unterdessen feierte er in der Schweiz Erfolge durch die beliebten "Futurescope"-Raves im Limmathaus in Zürich. Die dazu gehörigen Cd's wurden ebenfalls von C.A. gemixt, wovon bis heute ca. 150'000 Stück verkauft wurden. Es folgten weitere Auftritte u.a.: - in der ABB Halle, Baden - am "Cyber Rave IV", Weinfelden - am "Shopping Rave", Glattbrugg - an div. "Phuture Rhythm" Partys in der Magic Factory, Schlieren - im "Cellophane", Rimini ('97) - Div. Auftritte in Deutschland - Div. Auftritte an den Futurescope Raves - im Nachtwerk, Thun - im Alcatraz, Riazzino Folgende CD's wurden von DJ C.A. gemixt: - Futurescope 3.5 - Futurescope 4 - Futurescope 5 - Futurescope 6 - Futurescope 7 - Futurescope 8 - Futurescope 9 - Futurescope 10 - Futurescope 11 - Futurescope 12 - Futurescope 13 - Tranzworld 1 - Tranzworld 2 - Tranzworld 3 (Release 14.4.2000) Folgende Maxi-Singles hat DJ C.A. bis heute veröffentlicht: - DJ C.A."Reminder" (1996) - DJ C.A. "The System" (1998) - Lost Generation "The Prayer" (1999) - Astrolight "Lightness" (1999) - Dj Popeye "Like feared" (1999) - DJ C.A. "The Sweep" (2000) DJ C.A. English Casimir Mühlematter alias DJ C.A. started his career in 1991. At around about this time, he began working as a Resident DJ in a Nightclub, mixing vinyl-records, with the experience that he had made whilst working for various Mobile Discotheques. He made his first real break-through in the "Techno-Scene", at the "White Dove Party" in Studio Urdorf. The success of his appearance at this gig, confirmed, that he was one of the best DJ's in his field, which convinced the Party organisors to employ him as their Resident DJ. Approximately one year later, DJ C.A. was able to make the right mixture of Trance music, bringing Ravers to ecstatic heights, during his appearance at the "Grodonia" (Rümlang near Zürich). At this time, the "Grodonia" was respected as THE Techno Club of all Clubs in and around Zürich, and gained fame for it's After-After Hour Parties, organised by the legendary "Tarot" promotions. There is one appearance which should be Hi-Lighted. The organizors of the Webster Hall in New York, were made aware of DJ C.A., after hearing one of his Mix-CD's. They were impressed, and invited him to appear at one of their Party's in April of 1998. Once again, DJ C.A. proved his capabilities, and was then asked to mix the "Tranzworld CD", also to appear at the release Party of this CD in August of 1998. Approximately 3500 party-goers, were able to witness DJ C.A in action. Amongst a whole host of U.S. Live acts at the party, was none other than Barbara Tucker. Casi was also asked to make interviews for various American Television Companies. Under the project-names: "DOUBLE FORCE" , "DJ C.A." & "DJ POPEYE", Casi began releasing his own tracks, which found huge popularity on certain German CD Compilations, i.e. "Trancemaster" and "Tunnel Trance Force". These compilations were regular Hits in the German Sampler Charts. At the same time, DJ.C.A. was making a name for himself in his own territory, Switzerland, through mixing the successful "Futurescope" CD Compilations, and appearing at the release parties for those CD's, at the Mega-Raves in Zürich's "Limmathaus". This popular CD series, has sold already, somewhere in the region of 150'000 units.
